The new baby of the Fujifilm big zoom cameras, the FinePix S3500 Zoom features a 4 million effective pixel sensor and 6x optical zoom lens. This powerful lens, equivalent to 39–224mm on a 35mm camera, allows photographers to zoom in or zoom out from any potential photographic opportunity. Coupled with fully automatic mode and 4 scene position modes – portrait, landscape, sports, night scene, any beginner will be able to capture great images with just the touch of a button thanks to the pre–programmed shooting modes.
For low light situations, the S3500 Zoom features a monitor brightness control to make it easier to compose your photographs in low light situations. The monitor brightness works for both the electronic viewfinder and LCD screen.
Further noticeable improvements to the S3500 Zoom include a quicker shot–to–shot time and a much–improved shutter lag time of less than 0.1 second, so the chances of missing a shot are very remote. The S3500 also adds PictBridge™ functionality, the industry standard for direct printing without the need for a PC or Mac.
